Why Damai Pelita
What makes these programmes different
Small groups, real attention
No large lecture halls. Groups are kept small so the facilitator knows your situation and you can ask the questions that matter to you.
Measured pace, no pressure
Content is covered without rushing. Written summaries after sessions let you absorb material in your own time before the next meeting.
Malaysian context throughout
EPF, KWSP structures, local unit trusts, ringgit planning — every example and case study is grounded in the Malaysian financial landscape.
Written outcomes, not just talk
Each programme produces a tangible written document — whether a personal financial summary or a comprehensive retirement review — that you keep.
No sales agenda
Damai Pelita does not sell financial products. The programmes are educational; what you do with that knowledge is entirely your decision.
Evening sessions, central KL
Classes run in the evening at our Jalan Tun Razak premises, accessible for those managing working or family commitments during the day.

Common Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a finance background to join?
No background is expected or required. Setting the Time, our introductory programme, was designed specifically for people coming to their own finances for the first time. Even for the longer programmes, the facilitator meets you where you are.
How large are the groups?
The introductory course runs with a small group format — typically four to eight participants per facilitator. The investment course is capped at fifteen. The retirement programme is a private, one-to-one engagement.
Are these programmes conducted in English or Bahasa Malaysia?
Sessions are conducted in English. Written summaries are provided in English. If you would prefer Bahasa Malaysia materials for personal use, please mention this when you enquire.
When do programmes typically run?
Programmes are scheduled on weekday evenings, generally between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm at our Jalan Tun Razak premises. New cohorts open periodically. Contact us to find out when the next intake begins.
What is the fee and are payment plans available?
Setting the Time is RM 510. Considered Investing After Forty is RM 1,940. Long-Horizon Retirement Engagement is RM 2,820. Payment by instalment may be possible for the longer programmes — ask us when you enquire.
Will you recommend specific funds or products?
No. Damai Pelita is an educational provider and does not sell, refer, or earn commissions on any financial products. The programmes help you understand your options so you can make decisions with confidence — independently.
Is my personal financial information kept private?
Yes. Any personal financial details you share during sessions remain strictly between you and your facilitator. Group discussions are kept general; individual circumstances are never disclosed to other participants.
